Whale Watching Iceland July 16th 12:55

Our second tour for this week ~ we sailed first for a small visit towards the puffin island and on our way we've spotted a small group of harbour porpoises , just by the island ;)) We haven't seen as many puffins , but most likely they have been out hunting for fish . We really were surprised in this tour , cause after only a little while sailing we've spotted a big group of white beaked dolphins . There was so many of them surrounding our boat and then we also were able to detect a little calf close by its family. Some of our guests saw the dolphins really close ~ they almost were able to touch it . We remained for a long time with the withe beaked dolphins and then we heard about a minke whale hanging out close to ashore and we were lucky enough to find it . The minke whales was good visible for us and several times surfacing only in a 20 meters distance . But then we run out of time and started our sail back to land . Our guests enjoyed the sun bathing at the top deck ~ really nice weather , really nice tour ~
