A new luxurious whale watching ship is on its way to us
Good news everybody! We can now offer you a new grand luxurious whale watching ship for the season of 2010. With all modern requirements, facilities, space, comfort, viewing decks and safety this is a dream come true. We are very proud to be able to offer you what we believe is the best cruiser available in Iceland when it comes to whale watching tours. The ship carries 240 passengers but we will minimize it to 150 for each tour for extra comfort. The ANDREA is 3 level ship with huge windows, indoor seats for 130 people, outside seats for 65 persons, spacious and finely decorated public areas and two stylish lounges with an open snack-bar on board and 5 modern designed WC etc. etc. We encourage you to come and see for yourself and we look forward to take you for an adventure on sea in the season of 2010.

Interesting travel path of a Humpback whale around Iceland
Whales are very mysterious mammals which much too little is known about. But the 21.of October a Humpback whale was marked with a GPS receiver in Eyjafjordur (North of the country) for research purposes by the Marine Research Institute. By the 6.of November the Humpback whale had already arrived all the way to Faxafloi bay. See his interesting travel path by clicking on this article.
